When making good compost, it is essential that you have worms on hand. The sight of worms may make us squeamish at some points but what we do not know is that these repulsive-looking organisms has to be given a lot of credits to. Vermicomposting can not be done without worms.
Worms are in a constant search for suitable food, penetrating all parts of the matter, excreting end products that are readily available for breaking down by microbes. The use of worms to break down organic wastes into composts reduces the bulk of your kitchen waste and other eco wastes such as eco nappies and so on.
Worm composting is a high quality organic fertilizer. It is a huge help in the endless problem of waste disposal. Vermicomposting can cut down on the size of land fills as well as the amount of fuel needed to collect this waste to bring it to the landfill.
