This company has a long history of building value based products. One of their very first attempts at chainsaws came in the 1940′s with an electric chainsaw which was a first for the industry. The company continued with innovations which helped the chainsaw develop into what we see today, including offering a chainsaw that was light enough for one man to use alone, which was quite an innovation for the time.
Currently their lineup of chainsaws is fairly extensive and for someone looking for a chainsaw, this is one company to check out. Their lineup consists of chainsaws that go all the way from being adequate for very small jobs, right up to large chainsaws that are ready to tackle a much larger job. Their smallest electric chainsaw, which is perfect for light yard work features a 14 inch bar, automatic oiler, a tensioner that does not require tools and weighs just under 8 pounds.
The largest model in their lineup is a chainsaw that offers a 20 inch bar, 46cc engine and weighs just 10 pounds. Homelite Chainsaws are ready to tackle larger jobs, but offered at a fair price, so it’s a good buy.
