People who are looking for a suitable business can follow these easy steps on build a tiki bar. The first step is to find an old or sturdy bar, preferably located in places where there are flocks of people. The Tiki Hut’s basic shape and design patterns are to be decided on as the next step. Make a plan for putting up a sink and a place for the refrigerator before framing the hut. . The tabletop height is needed to be adjusted correspondingly to the bar stools so make sure you buy the stools ahead of time. The next action in building your Tiki Bar is to personalize the tabletop. Since the place was used or is currently being used as a bar, then it naturally has its tabletop. Remember to secure each of the poles to the tabletop with tape or clamps or cable ties which can be found in any hardware store. These poles will serve as the foundation for the roof and secure it. The roof itself will compose of a plywood sheet that is designed with the Tiki motif. Attach thatching composed of palm leaves and other tree leaves into the plywood then nail the plywood into the bamboo poles and seal it using tape. The only thing left is the proper lighting to create the perfect Tiki ambience, since the tabletop and the roof have been finished.

Bamboo torches are the most appropriate for adding the right lighting effects to the Tiki Bar. Almost hardware and convenience stores sell these Bamboo Torches. Use wire and wrap it around the bamboo poles and use screws and glue to secure it. Use tropical lanterns as lighting for the tabletop for the added Tiki ambience. Do not forget to use at least three coats of dark brown water resistant stain in all of the bamboo poles in order to imitate the richly colored traditional teak woods of the original Tiki Bars. Add more decorations like a drape of bamboo mat, a bamboo screen and some tropical flowers and get ready to serve authentic Tiki drinks to complete your own Tiki Bar. I hope this guide has shown you tiki bar plans.
