If you are searching for a Barcelona Chair for your living room or office, then you have a very complicated taste. Made by the popular architect-designer Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Barcelona chairs are recognized for their sleek, minimalist appearance and as a timeless icon of the 20th century modern furniture movement. However, it is also known for its relatively high price tag. Although the chair was supposedly created as a furnishing for the regular man, it was a stark contrast to the chair’s original price of $6,281. The difference between licensed and reproduction pieces is that the manufacturers of the reproductions do not have a authorization to make them. This is why remade chairs are often a double-edged sword, as the chair that you have bought can either be of good or terrible quality.
